Michel Bachelier

​As Managing Partner of SIP, Michel Bachelier’s expertise is in structuring and/or lead managing large projects in the natural resources and energy sectors. He has been fairly active in both developed economies and emerging markets.


Before joining SIP, he was the Senior Partner of an independent consulting firm, Trellis Capital Ltd, which main focus was to advise Governments and international operators on their natural resources and energy projects.


Prior to that, he was Managing Director of Lehman Brothers (based in NY and London), Global Head of International Project Finance. Mr Bachelier also worked on a number of Corporate Finance and Structured Finance transactions, as General Manager of Kleinwort Benson in France. Previously, he worked at Banque Indosuez as the Global Head of Project Finance.


During his career, Mr Bachelier has initiated and founded a number of projects in different fields (High Tech, Pharmaceuticals, etc...) and he presently holds a number of Director positions in some of these ventures.


Mr Bachelier holds a MA in Economics from La Sorbonne University (Paris, France), a MS (with honours) from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (Paris, France) and an MBA (with honours) from Harvard Business School (Boston, USA).

Grégoire de Courlon

​Prior to joining SIP as Managing Partner, Grégoire de Courlon was consultant in the field of structuring and/or management of large projects in developed and emerging markets, with a particular focus on the Caucasian and African markets. 


Previously, he co-founded a Wealth Management firm, where he acted as Business Development Manager. With this experience, he continues to act as investment advisor to large private investors, as well as for the setting up industrial partnerships. 

 

Mr de Courlon has invested in various Internet companies, and he continues to advise and assist entrepreneurs on financial structuring and on capital raising, in particular in the field of Technology.

 

He started his carrier at BNP Paribas, as the main collaborator of a SeniorBanker and as Credit Analyst.

 

Mr de Courlon holds a DU “Preparatory Cycle International Trade” from University School of Management Lyon III, and graduated from the ESCE Business School.
